No.   - Have you developed or participated in the development of any Lisp-related programs or libraries? I've developed some "personal" libraries and in the process of writing a 3D engine (long task).   - Lisp variants you have used: Common Lisp, Scheme, Emacs Lisp   - Lisp variants you're currently using or intend to use in the near future: Common Lisp   - Lisp implementations you have used CMUCL, SBCL, OpenMCL, Allegro CL,   - Lisp implementations you're currently using or intend to use in the near future: SBCL, OpenMCL, Allegro CL   - Computer platforms on which you're using or deploying Lisp: GNU/Linux x86, Mac OS X   - Number of years of experience with Lisp: 5+ but more active since 3 years   - Do you use Lisp: - at work (if so, how much) Sometimes but only few hours a week   - as a hobby (if so, how much) I tend to use it more at home than at work but still not enough.   - Are you using Lisp as much as you would like to? No, really not. I'd like all my personal and professional software to be written in Common Lisp. It's hard to change minds. But I work with comprehensive guys, so it might happen.   - Do you see any obstacles to further Lisp growth (if so, what is the biggest obstacle in your opinion)? People seems to want Lisp but are afraid of this name. Maybe we should rename some functionnalities to match for current words (managed code, agile languagues, aspects programming, ...)   People tend to refuse learning new things, so we've to be careful when we talk about that. We also have to change how we learn this language by showing good examples.   - Would you be interested in a Lisp-related job or contract work? Sure.   - Is your organization interested in hiring Lisp programmers? No. But who knows.   - Are you currently participating in Lisp-related meetings? Yes. We're a small group of individuals and software professionals meeting at Bordeaux, talking about Lisp. One time / two months.
