If not, why not?     i'm lucky enough that i can answer yes to this. Because we are a co-op, i can make the best technical decisions without a manager telling me i have to use java. and the open-source lisp implementations are great, which fits well with our ideals.     - Do you see any obstacles to further Lisp growth (if so, what is the biggest obstacle in your opinion)?   Education is the only obstacle. once you've worked in lisp, you don't want to write in any other language. Spread the word!     - Would you be interested in a Lisp-related job or contract work?   yes!     - Is your organization interested in hiring Lisp programmers?   Not as of right now, but when i do hire another developer, they will have to know at least some lisp.     - Are you currently participating in Lisp-related meetings? If so, where and how often? If not, would you be interested in such meetings?   I'm not, but i would love to attend if there are lispers in my area.
